In the age of the semi-automatic pistol as the defensive weapon of choice, the medium and large frame carry revolvers are enjoying a renaissance for good reason, and that reason is that they work well in the hands of a skilled user. Small-frame snub nose revolvers are frequently the primary or secondary defensive weapons of choice for many concealed carriers because they are relatively easy to conceal and carry. PTG is presenting this Carry Revolver Skills class for students who will receive well-structured, fundamental, and street-relevant training that will lead to a significantly greater understanding of the carry revolver’s advantages and disadvantages along with how to use them effectively in defensive situations.

Equipment List
- Eye and ear protection, with electronic ear protection strongly recommended
- Service or compact carry revolver, with a spare is a good idea (if possible), in .32 or larger caliber (.38 Special strongly preferred)
- 250 – 300 rounds of standard pressure ammunition (wadcutter loads recommended to minimize recoil)
- At least 10 rounds of your carry load
- Loading devices that you use: speedloaders, strips, 2X2X2 pouch, etc.
- Holster – belt level, either OWB, IWB, AIWB
- Pocket holster additionally, if normally used
- Proper belt
- Brass bristled weapons cleaning brush (toothbrush style), standard nylon cleaning brush and bore brush/cleaning rod
- Ball cap
- Bandaids and any other “owie” supplies
- Drinks and snacks
- Chair (recommended)
