In the age of the auto-pistol as the defensive weapon of choice, the compact (usually a snub nose or “snubby”) revolver continues to be the preferred choice of many armed citizens for their actual daily pistol carrying needs, while their 1911s, Glocks, etc. ride in the glovebox or in the safe at home. PTG is presenting this Compact Carry Revolver Skills class for students to receive some well-structured, fundamental, and street-relevant training with these convenient weapons. This course will help lead students to an understanding of the advantages, disadvantages, and most efficient use of their compact carry revolver.

Equipment List
- Eye and ear protection, with electronic ear protection strongly recommended
- Compact revolver, with a spare a good idea (if possible), in .32 or larger caliber (.38 Special strongly preferred)
- 250 – 300 rounds of standard pressure ammunition (wadcutter loads recommended to minimize recoil)
- At least 10 rounds of your carry load
- Loading devices that you use: speedloaders, strips, 2X2X2 pouch, etc.
- Holster – belt level, either OWB, IWB, AIWB
- Pocket holster additionally, if normally used
- Proper belt
- Brass bristled weapons cleaning brush (toothbrush style), standard nylon cleaning brush and bore brush/cleaning rod
- Ball cap
- Bandaids and any other “owie” supplies
- Drinks and snacks
- Chair (recommended)
